OCBC Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, often abbreviated and referred to as OCBC, is the second largest bank in Singapore. It was founded in 1932 by Tan Kah Kee's son-in-law Lee Kong Chian through the merger of Chinese Commercial Bank founded in 1912, Ho Hong Bank founded in 1917 and the old OCBC Bank founded in 1919. OCBC currently has more than 630 branches and representative offices in 18 countries or regions around the world, of which more than 337 branches are operated by the bank's subsidiary in Indonesia, OCBC NISP.
